Replacing a NOX AT10: Air Viper or Extreme Motion?
Start with what you want to change: easier depth on a short swing, faster movement at the net, or more pace when you accelerate. These are different buying questions. The Air Viper 2.6 and Extreme Motion 2025 are candidates to try, but the published specs do not prove that either fixes all three.

Which one belongs on your demo list?
Try the Air Viper 2.6 first if fast movement is your priority and you want to assess a lower nominal weight. Babolat lists 355 g with a tolerance of 10 g, a 265 mm balance and a teardrop shape. Its performance description emphasizes using swing speed. That is not proof of effortless depth from a short swing. Babolat specification
Try the Extreme Motion 2025 first if you specifically want to assess a diamond, high-balance build. HEAD lists 360 g and 270 mm and positions it for advanced attacking players. Its comparison with the heavier PRO is not a comparison with your AT10. HEAD specification
If your priority is easier defence with less effort, keep your current racket in the trial. Buying a model marketed for attacking play does not establish that it will solve that problem.
The exact versions compared
These are the two alternatives named in the linked buyer discussions, not a ranking of every AT10 alternative. Specifications checked on 29 September 2026. Confirm the version on the seller's page; reviews of an earlier Air Viper or a different Extreme Motion are not tests of this pair.

Sources: Babolat and HEAD. Neither table supplies a directly comparable swingweight or a measured rebound test. The five-gram nominal difference is smaller than Babolat's stated weight tolerance; ask for the actual sample weight with your grip setup.
A HEAD specification needs clarification
On the checked HEAD page, the expanded Facts panel lists UD Carbon. The main Specifications section instead says Hybrid Woven and describes a carbon-and-fibreglass mix. We cannot settle that conflict from this page. Ask the seller to confirm the exact item and construction before using face material as the deciding factor. We do not turn either label into a claim that it plays softer or harder than your NOX.
A useful demo takes more than a few smashes
Use the same balls and court session and record the fitted grips and protectors. Alternate with your current AT10 so you have a familiar reference.
- Slow defence: can you reach your usual target depth with a compact swing?
- Blocked volleys: can you keep the ball at your intended height and length without extra correction?
- Off-centre contact: note which misses remain playable and whether the racket twists in your hand.
- Accelerated overheads: compare accuracy as well as pace. A harder-hit ball that repeatedly misses is not a useful upgrade.
This is a suggested personal comparison, not a laboratory protocol or a test we have performed. Pick the option that improves your priority without an unacceptable loss in the shots you use most.

Check the AT10 you already own
Write down the year, 12K or 18K, and whether it is the standard, Attack or Lite version. Those names are not interchangeable. For the 2026 standard pair, start with our 12K versus 18K comparison. Before paying for the switch
Confirm the model on the order page, delivered price for your country, dispatch date and demo or return conditions. Do not assume a racket can be returned after playing with it. Is the Extreme Motion 2025 easier to move than the AT10?
HEAD describes it as more maneuverable than its PRO model. That does not answer how it compares with your exact AT10. Compare actual sample weight, grip setup and your own defensive shots.
