How the three rackets are chosen. For each priority, the racket with the highest PadelTrue rating for it, among rackets with a live shop offer in at least one country whose published weight range includes 360 g, that publish at least 3 of the 5 rating inputs and are not junior models. A tie goes to the cheaper racket. Recomputed on every build; a commission rate is never part of it. A published range that includes 360 g is not a measured weight of any single racket.

Choose one thing to keep and one thing to change. Try ordinary shots with both rackets, then compare your notes with the published specifications.

Questions

Can two padel rackets of 360 g (12.7 oz) feel different?

Yes. Weight is one input. Shape, balance and core firmness change how the racket swings and how much it forgives off-centre hits. On this page three rackets whose published ranges all include 360 g lead for three different priorities.

Which racket should a beginner choose?

Start with forgiveness and handling, not the badge. The racket picked here for starting out is the one rated highest for forgiveness among rackets you can buy whose range includes 360 g. The beginner guide lists more.

Does a comfort rating prevent elbow pain?

No. It describes feel and physical demand from the published build. It cannot diagnose or treat pain, and it does not prevent injury.

How this site makes money, and how it does not. PadelTrue may earn a commission when you buy through a retailer link on this site. A commission never changes a rating. Every rating comes from the manufacturer's published specification through the formula printed on the methodology page, and every specification links to where it was published. Found a wrong figure?
